Who we are:

We are a Ayurveda and Yoga retreat in Northern Germany nearby Lüneburg. Many people come to us who want to get out of their busy everyday life and want to practice Yoga and Ayurveda, learn more about Ayurveda philosophy and the Yoga culture and we have a small art school for various painting styles and techniques. We are situated in the north of germany, in the Lüneburger Heide, from where you can easily go to Berlin, Hamburg and Hannover.

A few words about our work:

We offer an unpaid internship that gives you a perfect behind-the-scenes look at a ayurveda and yoga hotel with a restaurant. We need assistance in the kitchen, service, housekeeping, and gardening—all straightforward tasks. The schedule involves working five days a week, with a six-hour workday.You must have a travel health insurance You should stay at least for 4 weeks. Please let us know when you would like to come.

What we offer:

Free accommodation in lovely, modern hotel rooms, a daily breakfast buffet as well as lunch and dinner (including vegan options) and free drinks. You can join free yoga and meditation classes five days a week, attend a weekly German course, and become part of a truly great community.

You must have taken out an international health insurance before you arrive. You should stay at least for 4 weeks, gladly longer. Please let us know when you would like to come.

We are looking for people who want to live and work with us for a while.
We especially like it when someone has special abilities (for example playing guitar, practicing yoga) and we can have fun together while learning from each other.

The following activities are provided for our volunteers:
- Outdoor work and gardening like taking care of the plants in our farm garden.
- Harvesting apples, as we cultivate old sorts of apple trees
- We bake our own bread and cook our own marmelade for our own needs.
- Prepare highlights like our weekly campfire with mulled wine and Guitar music.
- German-Indian cultural exchange: We offer Ayurveda and Yoga for many years

Our focus is cultural exchange, and we offer good conditions for voluntary work in various fields of work like organic agriculture and gardening, cooking various dishes from all over the world, painting and making music.

Learning opportunities: 

Our focus is cultural exchange. In addition to the experiences that you will make in the many different volunteer tasks, you can learn a lot: German language lessons, Yoga lessons, sometimes making music together at the fireplace...
Do you want to learn German?
Many things are much easier with some knowledge of the German language. That is why we offer a free language course once a week. If you need a Certificate for your stay (sometimes important for your CV or for school/university), we can talk about the special aspects you want to get to know.

Very important: If you are from a country outside the European Union, please check with the German embassy in your country to see if you need a separate visa for an unpaid internship at a hotel in Germany lasting no more than 90 days. If a separate visa is required, you are responsible for arranging it yourself well in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot assist you with visa matters.
